Circo Loco will be back on 31st May 2010 at the troubled venue DC10 for a special opening party. How long the venue will stay open remains to be scene, after last year’s near complete seasons absence. The club only held one event at the back end of the 2009 season in October. Even this late addition didn’t deter the Circo Loco regulars who returned to witness a roadblock welcome home party.

DC10 was shut down and fined by Ibiza’s authorities in 2008 after claims they had broken many laws, with the continuing battle that the venue is in fact only licensed as a road side café and not the mega club it has become in recent years. Despite the ongoing problems and ever-increasing police presence around the venue, DC10 and Circo Loco have in true Ibiza spirit, kept the party moving. It’s good news for Ibiza clubbers, many of whom have never witnessed the Circo Loco vibe and feared they never would when it was announced the club was closed.

Monday 31st May (also the day after Space opening) should see Circo Loco return to it’s traditional Monday afternoon / evening spot each week. Its return would certainly ad some vibrancy to the Ibiza schedules and give clubbers another club to choose from on their visits with the recent closure of El Divino.
