Trouble at Ushuaia: No more Luciano or Candenza Parties for 2010

No sooner has the season started than already the gossip has started, conspiracy theories circulate and the first closure of what we hope isn’t too many this year. Though this isn’t the closure we are used too, enforced by the police rather some carefully applied pressure and a graceful departure of Ushuaia most popular event Candenza, Luciano and the Vagabundo crew.

They were, once again, set to host a weekly party at the beach bar in Playa D’en Bossa, as an unofficial warm up to the new Sunday event at Pacha. It seems however they have been a victim of their own success. One of the most talked about ‘underground’ parties of 2009, now has become a full-blown beast; attracting thousands of people each week and and no longer the alternative but the main event. We are sure this is just the start of the story -stay tuned….
