In fact the face of Ibiza is a familiar one. The ever-gregarious Baby Marcello heads up a new campaign and weekly event for her new Ibiza incarnation The Face of Ibiza. Alongside cohort DJ Oliver, the two aim to transform Saturday nights at Privilege just as they did Wednesdays at Space two seasons ago.

This time though they won’t be operating under the banner La Troya, which remains with once third partner and friend Brasillo. The three had a very public falling out last season when Baby Marcello took to the stage at Space and took out her frustrations on just about everyone including the Space owner Pepe , which needless to say lead to their exit from the club the day after.

So who knows what the La Troya or now Face of Ibiza soap opera will bring this in 2009. La Troya itself has moved back to Amnesia a club that it occupied only three years ago and left in a blaze of controversy to settle at Space. It seems wherever the night and its team go fireworks follow. The only problem is party people seem to like fireworks. So no doubt another busy season for both.
