The Full Moon this friday 4th September also happens to be what is known as the Harvest Moon, which is the closest one to the Autumn Equinox. Fortunately for those of you in Ibiza the weather is likely to be anything but autumnal! A handful of nightspots around the island will be using this as the perfect excuse to throw a party in honour of the moon at its most rotund.

First mention must go to Amante beach club for the more reflective experience; with its extensive vista of the Sol Den Serra bay you might be lucky enough to encounter the mesmerizing spectacle of the moon rising out of the ocean horizon, provided it is a clear evening of course. That alone is worth going for, as if the delicious food and cocktails weren’t enough!

As per usual KM5 will also be hosting one of their fêted Full Moon parties. The sumptuous setting and lounge garden make for an absorbing location to spend the night amongst the attractive crowd who habitually gather there, though NonStop advises booking one of the outdoor lounge areas if you want to truly appreciate the lunar display. Music is provided by Sergi Ribas accompanied by saxophonist Deba.
