Ibiza’s new DJ love child Luciano, who wooed mega crowds to his famous Ushuaia beach parties throughout 2009 could be set for a weekly residency at one of the big clubs on the island. Many fans will be disappointed that Luciano will be moving on from the evening beach parties in Playa D’en Bossa that were the talk of the island, last season and saw thousands gather on the sand for his extended DJ sets.

Despite still playing the Ushuaia opening party, it’s rumoured Luciano will be moving for a high profile residency at one of the major clubs. It was only a matter of time before the demand was such that one of the big boys would want a slice of the action. After years of building a following at Circo Loco, Cocoon and last years Candenza’s beach parties it looks set for Luciano to have his very own weekly night in 2010.
