The International Music Summit or the IMS as it is more commonly known has quickly become a fixture in the music industry diary, only entering its third year in 2010. It takes place at the Ibiza Gran Hotel in the most part just before the Space Opening on 27th to 29th May. It aims to be an intense music industry focused event where delegates get to network as well as develop ideas and attend panels and talks on how the industry should best move forward in difficult times.

One of the key drivers behind the event is Pete Tong who along with Ben Turner and Simeon Friend have created a serious global music event on an island that has music at it’s heart. Of course for those that aren’t so interested in the business but more the party, there is a huge finale held on the Friday night. Last year Basement Jaxx appeared live. This year’s special guest is yet to be revealed, but keep checking back for more information.
