La Brasa is a charming walled garden restaurant tucked away through an inconspicuous arched doorway on a small street within arm’s length of the Ibiza Old Town walls. It first opened its doors in 1977 and has been a mainstay ever since.
Though the food is top notch (more on that in a moment) you are likely to be equally, if not more seduced by the enchanting atmosphere and verdant garden setting, brimming with flowers and palm trees. Candlelit tables, understated lighting and the intimate seating impart a bona fide sense of romance found in few restaurants.
The chefs excel at cooking classic Mediterranean cuisine to absolute perfection, with the seafood especially recommended. If you have never been a fan of paellas this is the perfect place to reconsider. Also of note are the homemade desserts, courtesy of the boss’ mother!
As you can imagine it’s a popular place and rightly so, full of trendy locals and savvy tourists. If you fancy a fantastic meal in captivating surroundings and are prepared to spend just a little bit extra whilst out in Ibiza Town, La Brasa is an ideal option. If you are any more than two people it might be an idea to book a table in advance.
