Portinatx is a small resort located at the most northern point of Ibiza. It attracts holiday makers and families to its beautiful beaches and tranquil surroundings. It also an ideal place to relax being away from the bustle of the main towns and their nightlife.
The resort has two bays, Port de Portinatx and Cala Xarraca. Port de Portinatx is split into two sandy beaches s’Arenal Gross and s’Arenal Petite, which are both ideal for swimming. Cala Xarraca is a pebble beach with clear waters which make it great for snorkelling
Portinatx has a far more tranquil feel than other resorts in Ibiza. It’s not unusual to find people here that are visiting just to explore the island by both foot and car. Portinatx offers a great location for costal walks along the dramatic cliff faced coast. It also feels a little more rustic than some of the other costal resorts having escaped the high rise building and onslaught of cheaper eateries and gift shops. Here you can enjoy the market on Sundays and fresh fish in the local restaurants.
