Figueretas offers a mixture of costal and suburban Ibiza. The area is in fact an Eastern suburb of Ibiza Town, which ensures you are close to the action but at the same time within one of the least rural areas of the island.
But don’t let the fact this area is less than remote put you off. Figueretas has a charm that makes it a lovely place to stay for a break to Ibiza. There is a small but adequate beach with a main promenade that acts as the heart of the area. While in some resorts the location is exclusively tourists in Figuertas you are much more likely to mingle with locals relaxing on the promenade or strolling in the evening.
The location is key here as you are only a twenty-minute walk from ether the beauty of Ibiza’s Old Town or the far larger beach and more lively resort of Playa D’en Bossa. It is this central location that makes it consistently popular with tourists
Figueretas attracts a mixture of age groups and the accommodation reflects this, with both family hotels and self-catering accommodation on offer. There is a selection of good cafés, bars and restaurants, but for those looking for nightlife, you will be better heading into Ibiza Town or Play D’en Bossa.
