Ibiza Goes Disco
Wednesday 19th May 2010 - 13:25
Future Disco have announced they will be taking over the Red Room on Tuesdays as part of Carl Cox at Space. Ibiza may not be instantly associated with disco music over the last few years but the island was originally known for it’s Balearic spirit and embracing of many genre’s within the same night. And lets not forget the Funky Room at Pacha, a shrine to disco and funk inspired grooves.
Future Disco have been making waves worldwide over the past 12 months with a successful compilation series, a Ministry of Sound residency and events all over the planet. The sound is somewhere between house and disco, embracing the old while being completely new.
We look forward to checking them out in the Redbox over the season. Dates are as follow July 13th, 20th, August 3rd, 10th, 24th and September 7th. Their new compilation ‘City Heat’ is also out at the end of May.
