Folk Ibiza 2010

Sometimes you have to dig quite deep to find some of the Balearic roots on the island, at least when it comes to an alternative music scene outside Ibiza’s house beat. So it’s great to see a collective of artists getting together to present a festival / gathering celebrating an altogether more chilled soundtrack. The same people who run the Folk Café in Manchester present Folk Ibiza.

They intend to bring the same philosophy to the island, a relaxed and friendly environment with great music. And they surely won’t be short of that with a line up that includes Mudd, Phil Mison and Balearic Mike.
