DC10 has a reputation as one of the craziest places in Ibiza, and with good reason. The famous Monday day / night party Circo Loco has given rise to whole new Ibiza culture in itself. The club has developed from a small roadside café, on the road to Salinas, to more recently the vogue of the Ibiza clubland. If ever there was to be a victim of it's own success, DC10, over the last two years has been plagued by the authorities infatuation with closing the club down, which resulted in it only one party in 2009.
The club itself is split into two sections, the once outside terrace and the main ‘dark’ room. Depending what day or time you go to DC10 will depend what part of the club is open. Most opt for the Monday afternoon, which is crammed full to breaking point and more.
The drinks here are slightly cheaper and atmosphere more wild which have made it a hit in recent years among the clubbing set it is a place of legend. But for those very same reasons it has come to the attention of the police, who after many attempts have ensured the clubs closure. It looks unlikely to open in 2009 and Ibiza will be a sader place for it, depending who you talk to of course.
